Hi! My name is Catie Joyce. I am passionate about yoga, and those things, persons, and activities that make life worth living. I love being outdoors and discovering new places and ways to enjoy it. I currently find myself living in a small rural town in the mountains of Maine, which gives me ample opportunity to explore the outdoors.
I have been practicing yoga on and off, in various forms and levels of commitment, for over a decade, and have been teaching for the past few years, though it is not my day job.
I approximate a yogi lifestyle, with a focus in Kundalini Yoga. This is my space to share what I am learning on this journey and connect with others on the same path. Thanks for stopping by.
My teaching: I am a certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I was drawn to Kundalini Yoga for its holistic approach, encompassing body, mind, and soul. I carry this over into my teaching, through classes with a focus on calming the mind, in order to uplift and elevate. Relaxation is always a large component of classes. I love teaching all levels, but especially those new to Kundalini or yoga/meditation in general.
